Stabilized Chaotic “Wood Camo” Pen Blanks made from:

Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Padauk, Wenge and Purple Heart.

Stabilizing is a long process of impregnating the wood with resin.

These pen blanks are rough cut on the bandsaw and are pretty square.

This batch of Chaotic blocks went through 10 rounds of planing, ripping and gluing to get this kind of detail. Zero snipe is in the final product.
